General Info: Champion Soccer School's Belmont Summer
Day
Camps are in their 3rd year. It is for boys and
girls of all abilities entering grades K-6. Each week
is split up into three sub-programs (grades
K-1, 2-3, and 4-6)
The soccer curriculum will have two components. The first component
involves a variety of soccer-related activities. These drills will help teach
some of the core fundamentals of soccer (dribbling,
passing shooting, and trapping). In addition to developing
fundamental skills, games will focus on teamwork
and cooperation and maintaining a positive attitude.
The multi-sport curriculum will have two components. The first component
involves a variety of recreational activities. Children will participate in
sports such as soccer and basketball. In addition to playing sports, children
will also participate in a variety of recreational activities such as kickball,
relays, tennis baseball, and frisbee golf.
Both camps will also include an arts & crafts component
where children will learn the art of perspective, shading, and cartooning. In
addition, students will learn how to make a variety of things they can take
home, such as paper airplanes and bracelets.
What to bring: - Running Shoes (we will be using
the gymnasium and cleats are not allowed in the building) - Lunches
and snacks (we have a refrigerator to keep them cool during
