Who We Are
Charles
Goodhue Co-Founder, Co-Owner, Co-Director
Charles co-founded Champion
Soccer School after graduating Wayland High
School in 2002. After co-captaining Wayland High
School Boys' Soccer to their first ever State Championship,
he was recruited to play at Brandeis University
with teammate Brian Bisceglia-Kane who he is very
excited to have join him as Champion Soccer
School partner. As a Brandeis
outside midfielder, Charles was third on the team
in scoring his Junior year and followed that up
with a Senior year in which he was an all-league
selection along with being a first team selection
to ESPN The Magazine's Academic All Eastern US
Team.
After
his collegiate playing career was over, Charles
started focusing a lot of his time on coaching.
In 2006, Charles coached Wayland High School's Freshman
Boys Soccer Team, and from 2008-2011 has assisted Coach David
Gavron to lead Wayland High School's Varsity team to
the four straight winning seasons and Division 2 tournament births and a Division 2 North Finals appearance in 2011.
Brian
Bisceglia-Kane Co-Owner, Co-Director
Brian
has had a passion for soccer all his life. His
love began at age six when he was the leading
scorer of his team: The Dinosaurs (coached by
his Dad). Brian continued playing through
his youth, captaining both his high school (Doherty
Memorial High School) and college (Brandeis)
teams. Brian also played on the Olympic
Development team when he was seventeen and eighteen
years old.
Brian
is currently a third grade teacher at the Daniel
Butler Elementary School in Belmont. After
playing, Brian found his passion for coaching.
He has coached at various camps and clinics,
and from 2008-2011, coached the JV Belmont Boy's Soccer
Team. Brian has been involved with Champion
Soccer School since 2004 and has been a partner since 2008. Brian hopes
to reach more soccer enthusiasts by adding new
camp locations in the Boston area.
