Daniel joined Champion Soccer School in 2014 after his sophomore year of high school at Wayland High School. At Wayland, Daniel played three years of varsity soccer as an outside midfielder. He helped the team to its second State Championship (2014), which he considers one of his favorite soccer memories, including scoring a golden-goal double overtime goal in the state semifinals. He also helped lead the soccer to back-to-back Dual County League titles, the first time in school history the program has gone back to back and their first league title since 2001. Daniel was captain of the 2015 team, and was a two-time DCL All-Star. Daniel also played outfield for Wayland Baseball. His favorite camp game is thunder.
